You’ve probably all been worried sick about me because of a lack of posts for over a whole month. So sick in fact, that you probably called the police and sent out search parties.
I’ve been incredibly busy for the last few weeks and I apologise for this. Things I have been doing:
- Writing work for someone.
- Web design/building for someone.
- Working (my ‘real’ job).
- Selling my old car.
- Buying my new car (which will be able to tow a caravan and which will be bought any time within in the next couple of weeks).
It’s not that I’ve had a lack of anything interesting to write- I’ve simply been too busy to do it. Rest assured, normal service will be resumed very shortly.
On a side note, my internet connection appears to be down (thanks, Virgin Media) so I tried to improvise by using the internet through my iPhone. I pay £33.00/month for a tariff which includes “all you can eat” data and have previously been able to tether my phone to use it’s internet connection. Not now, apparently. I was faced with this webpage:
Are you using your phone as a modem or personal hotspot?
Using your phone as a modem and connecting it to other devices through WiFi or USB to get onto the internet (also called ‘tethering’), is not what the plan you’re on was designed for. If you would like to speak to someone about tethering options available to you, please call 333 free from your Three phone.
In the meantime if you want to get your phone back to browsing the internet you’ll need to turn it off, allow it to reset itself for a few moments, and then turn it on again.
If you’re looking for a Mobile Broadband connection, you’ll get a better, cheaper and faster experience on one of our Mobile Broadband tariffs or devices. Just go to your nearest 3Store.
