Once again, whilst reading today’s paper, I noticed a letter having a whinge about the Conservatives.
In many of your letters people have been saying that there should be a vote of no confidence in the Government
What I would like to know is why hasn’t Labour called for such a vote?
Had this devastation been inflicted upon us by a Labour government one would have been called long before now.
It completely amazes me that people are really this naive. Yes, David Cameron is a bit of a tit, doesn’t seem to know what he’s talking about and back-tracks more than a straight bloke who accidentally hints that he likes a couple of fingers up his arse.
But do people seriously believe that the state of the country has been caused by the Conservatives? Unemployment hasn’t suddenly just happened in the last 18 months. Financial difficulties haven’t mysteriously appeared over night. The mess we’re in and the problems we face now are the results of years of poor management under Labour. Have we all forgotten about the small recession we had a few years ago? Labour were in control before and during the recession- I don’t hear anyone mentioning that.
Unemployment figures are the result of years of Labour handing out free money to people too lazy to work- why get a job if you can get paid to eat McDonald’s and watch Jeremy Kyle? And of course, the Conservatives get it in the neck because they’re trying to stem the steady flow of cash- it’s hardly surprising that so many cutbacks are being made.
I’m politely asking those Labour voters who are too stupid to look at the bigger picture to not constantly whine about how shit the Conservatives have made things. Unfortunately, they’ve been tasked with mopping up the ridiculous mess that Labour made.
