My Tesco food delivery has just been, err, delivered. I’ve put everything away and felt like something was missing. It was the Tesco Cod Fillets that I ordered! I’m fairly certain that Tesco could have substituted this with a similar product from a different brand and as they have blatantly not done this, I can only assume that this is a deliberate attempt at mockery. Or they didn’t want to have to pay for a superior product- who knows?
I was also entitled to a free sample of KELLOGGS MINI MAX ORIGINAL 560G, but this was missing also. Bastards. Not only will I have to venture out and find time to purchase some cod fillets, I have been robbed of a free sample of something that I would not likely eat anyway, but that’s not the point!
I have sent Tesco an email, highlightling these blatant failures in my shopping delivery expectations and I expect a suitable reponse- at the very least, I expect them to refund my delivery charge. You’re probably wondering why I’m not putting a copy of the email here. Well, it’s because it’s boring, sensible and from my ‘actual’ email address. Unfortunately, I fired this off before I thought of all the fun I could have.
I must be losing my touch. Here’s their generic reponse all the same:
