A few months ago, a friend introduced me to Wish (although I think I’d seen adverts for it pop up on my Facebook feed at various points).
My friend had bought a horse mask (don’t ask because I don’t know) from Wish via their mobile app so I had a look, only to find that you can buy most things you’d need to buy and just as many things which were completely unnecessary but which you (me) may buy anyway. TalkTalk are now finally out of my life and I couldn’t be happier. My contract with them was due to run out in May and I had been quite happy with them, but after all this disconnection nonsense I couldn’t get away quickly enough. TalkTalk have been absolutely and without any doubt whatsoever, a massive pile of steaming shit. I now hate TalkTalk with a passion. continue reading →
I’ve written a fair bit about Groombridge Place recently (see previous posts here). I went to visit it earlier this year but it was closed as the dates on it’s website had been wrong. I complained and after a fairly long delay, I received a reply with an apology and the offer of some courtesy tickets.
On Thursday, I went to Thorpe Park. Realistically, the conditions weren’t fantastic; first week of the summer holidays, a heatwave and a new ride which was called “The Swarm”. Arrived at 10am and already it seemed to be fairly ram-packed. continue reading →
