Yesterday, in Woolwich, south east London, someone was viciously and brutally murdered in a busy street, in the middle of the afternoon. It’s being called a “terrorist attack”.
Home secretary, Theresa May, recently announced proposals for tougher sentencing on those who take the life of a police officer. She wants to see these people face a life sentence because such crimes are an attack on the “fundamental basis of our society“. On Friday 3rd August, a 12 year old girl named Tia Sharp mysteriously disappeared from the New Addington area. Today, 9 days later, Stuart Hazell, the boyfriend of Tia’s Grandmother, Christine Sharp, is charged with her murder. I had a suspicion that at least one family member would be involved.
